Irene’s Dream Luncheon & Boutique Shopping
Irene’s Dream Luncheon & Boutique Shopping, a celebratory luncheon, provides an uplifting opportunity to hear triumphant stories of single minority mothers, who may ordinarily have “fallen through the cracks”. They have overcome obstacles and reached potentials that would not have been achievable without a helping hand.
This year's Honorary Chair is Dina L. Clark, EdD, who is the Senior Vice President of Inclusion & Engagement at Skanska USA Building. Skanska, a multi-billion-dollar construction leader, is globally headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden. Dina L. Clark, EdD, is the Senior Vice President of Inclusion & Engagement at Skanska USA Building. Skanska, a multi-billion-dollar construction leader, is globally headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden. In her current role, Dina drives cultural transformation across 3200+ US-based employees. With over two decades of experience leading national and global inclusion efforts, she has built her career on creating inclusive cultures that are engaging and aligned with strategic business objectives. Reporting directly to the President, she serves as a vocal member of the Senior Leadership Team, collaborating with operations teams and professional service groups to embed inclusion into the roots of the business. Her infectious energy has driven tangible change within Skanska, including anchoring the company’s commitment to Inclusion through their first comprehensive I&D Strategy; publishing the first, and ongoing, annual Inclusion progress report; and establishing local I&D Councils that strengthen internal and external inclusion efforts across the US business.
Dina also served as the first-ever Head of Diversity & Inclusion for multi-billion-dollar chemical leader Covestro LLC, launching Covestro’s first Inclusion Strategy in North America, as part of her work with Covestro’s teams across the US and Mexico. Eventually, Dina’s strategic inclusion work in North America informed the development of Covestro’s inclusion foundation across their global operations, beginning with their headquarters in Leverkusen, Germany.
In previous roles, including Senior Director for the YWCA of Greater Pittsburgh, Executive Director of the Western Pennsylvania Diversity Initiative, and Regional Education Director for the Anti-Defamation League, Dina also partnered with various corporate partners, sparking growth and awareness throughout the Greater Pittsburgh region and beyond. Dina cultivates trust with both internal and external stakeholders, fostering alliances with corporations, non-profits, and government entities to help drive inclusion.
